A number of high-profile MMA personalities such as Conor McGregor, Joe Rogan, Dana White, and others have lent support to the candidate they believe is worthy of becoming the POTUS (President of the United States).
Longtime combat sports fan and ex-POTUS, Donald Trump, is the Republican Party's presidential hopeful. Meanwhile, current Vice President Kamala Harris is the Democratic Party's hopeful in the 2024 U.S. presidential elections.
Nigerian-American MMA star and ex-UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman has often endorsed Trump. Additionally, UFC color commentator Joe Rogan recently hosted and praised Trump supporter and cabinet hopeful, Elon Musk, on the JRE (Joe Rogan Experience) podcast.
Rogan generally refrains from officially endorsing any candidate, but he's now tweeted his official endorsement of Trump. An excerpt from the MMA personality's tweet read:

"He [Elon Musk] makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you'll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way. For the record, yes, that's an endorsement of Trump. Enjoy the podcast."
Former undisputed heavyweight champion boxer Mike Tyson has also long shared mutual support with Donald Trump. During an appearance on Hot 97 in 2015, Tyson said:
"I'm voting for Trump. So what's somebody's gonna do about it? So what [if you disagree]? What are you gonna do?"
Henry Cejudo put forth a tweet, featuring himself, his longtime manager Ali Abdelaziz, as well as ex-UFC champions Frankie Edgar and Rashad Evans endorsing Donald Trump.
Ali Abdelaziz even claimed that Trump told Khabib Nurmagomedov he'd stop the wars in Gaza and Ukraine if he became president. He has encouraged fellow Muslims to vote for Trump, which he thinks would help bring world peace.
Former interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington and former BMF champion Jorge Masvidal, ardent Trump supporters, also tweeted their endorsements for him.
During his UFC 302 post-fight octagon interview in June 2024, former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland lent his support to Trump. Moreover, former Bellator lightweight champion and current UFC lightweight contender Michael Chandler has put forth several social media posts endorsing Trump.
Ex-UFC women's bantamweight champion Miesha Tate and former interim UFC lightweight champion Justin Gaethje put forth multiple tweets endorsing Trump.
Donald Trump vs. Kamala Harris: MMA promoter and UFC boss Dana White's unwavering support
On one hand, some MMA personalities such as UFC middleweight staple Chris Curtis have lent their support to the Democratic Party's Kamala Harris. 'The Action Man' has actively partaken in socio-political debates on X as of late and appeared to endorse Harris last month.
Combat sports megastar Conor McGregor once lambasted Donald Trump for criticizing UFC icon Ronda Rousey. Well, a few years later, in 2020, McGregor hailed Trump as a "phenomenal president." The Irishman also sent him and America his good wishes. The former two-division UFC champion also supported Trump after the latter survived an assassination attempt this year.
Furthermore, UFC CEO and president Dana White has been one of Trump's biggest supporters. White has often criticized the current Biden-Harris administration and insinuated that Harris becoming POTUS would be a scary proposition. The MMA promoter has often spoken for Trump at political rallies and events, including a recent MSG rally where he stated:
"My fellow Americans, if you want what's best for your family and this country, you're gonna vote for Donald J Trump as the 47th president of the United States."
