Fans recognize Andrew Tate as a man who always looks put together and speaks confidently, and whose opinions always seem to stir up some sort of controversy. His striking baldness, which he insists was always a conscious decision, adds to his visual impact.
The controversial influencer was recently given an additional 30-day prison sentence in Romania for his involvement in organized crime and human trafficking. Andrew Tate, his brother Tristan, and two other suspects had their arrest warrants extended for a third time by a court in Bucharest.
Earlier last month, Tate was photographed being escorted by police while handcuffed as he entered a courthouse in Bucharest on February 1 for his hearing. The 36-year-old, who has previously told fans that his trademark shaved dome was intentional, seemed to be suffering from male pattern baldness. His receding front hairline and loss of hair on the crown prompted fans on the internet to speculate that perhaps Andrew Tate is not bald by choice.

Most recently, it was reported that Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan asked to have a hairstylist visit them in jail. They also requested a PlayStation for their cell. According to Romanian news outlet Gandul, since their arrest, the brothers have repeatedly requested a PlayStation and a hair stylist from prison staff.
However, the pair's demands have been denied by the relevant authorities. Apparently, Tate demanded a hairstylist be brought into prison after complaining that he couldn't shave his head because single-use razors aren't permitted there.

In the early hours of December 29, police raided the Bucharest house of controversial internet personality Andrew Tate. Since then, he has been detained in prison with his brother, on suspicion of their involvement in organized crime and human trafficking.
Tate and his brother Tristan both claim they had nothing to do with the criminal actions for which they have been blamed. To this point, they have had three extensions of their custody, and a request for their release made earlier this month was denied. The Tate brothers' lawyers told the media on Tuesday, after the extension application was filed, that no new evidence was presented at the hearing.
Tate, who has always highlighted the need to stay fit and adopt discipline, recently revealed to his devoted fans how he has maintained his health while being imprisoned:
"Every single day, I do 500 squats. 500 push-ups. Practice my tiger paw technique. Walk 10km."
