Undefeated bantamweight Umar Nurmagomedov, ahead of his UFC 311 title fight, did an interview with former teammate Daniel Cormier. A viral clip shows Cormier hilariously failing to convince Nurmagomedov about his "gangster" status. Fans have now reacted to this clip.
Cormier claimed that he frequently outperformed the Dagestani in the gym, which also makes him a "gangster." In response to 'DC's' amusing assertions, Nurmagomedov said:
"Brother I think you even not kill fly brother. You know brother, you’re not gangster… Brother gangster not sitting in front of camera and talking with fighters. Gangsters try to hide. Brother even Cain Velasquez more gangster than you.”

Daniel Cormier breaks down Merab Dvalishvili vs. Umar Nurmagomedov
Daniel Cormier, who shares a close relationship with the Dagestani fighters, recently broke down the UFC 311 co-main event. The key factor will be Merab Dvalishvili's cardio, which 'DC' claims will be something Umar Nurmagomedov has never seen in his career so far. Cormier also believes 'The Machine' is a more experienced fighter.
In the UFC 311 ESPN MMA preview, the UFC commentator praised the challenger, saying:
"He is as talented as any of them. He works as hard as any of them… The one difference between Umar and the rest is he seemed to be a striker that learned to wrestle more opposed to the wrestler that was trying to just get the striking."
Cormier added:
"Merab is the real deal. He is going to get pushed in a way that he never has. And I truly believe that the biggest push for Merab will come just in the cardio because he is going to push a pace that Umar has never seen before."
