Tai Tuivasa is now on a two-fight losing streak in the UFC after losing to Sergei Pavlovich at UFC Orlando via first-round stoppage. Tuivasa issued a heartfelt statement on Instagram after the loss and also apologized to his fans for the performance and for failing to provide a signature 'shoey' in Orlando.

While addressing the loss on Instagram, Tuivasa also showed respect to Pavlovich. The latter is now on a five-fight winning streak in the UFC and looks to be a serious contender in the heavyweight division:

As mentioned, Tai Tuivasa is now on a two-fight losing streak in the UFC after suffering back-to-back losses against Sergei Pavlovich and Ciryl Gane. However, 'Bam Bam' has been very active this year, fighting three times against tough opposition in the heavyweight rankings.

Tuivasa's most recent win came against Derrick Lewis earlier this year. 'Bam Bam' managed to stop the American within two rounds at UFC 271: Adesanya vs. Whittaker 2.

What is Tai Tuivasa's longest losing streak in the UFC?

As mentioned, Tai Tuivasa has lost back-to-back bouts against Sergei Pavlovich and Ciryl Gane in his last two UFC outings. This came after winning five fights in a row in the organization.

However, this isn't Tuivasa's longest losing streak in the UFC, with 'Bam Bam' previously suffering three defeats in a row back in 2019. The 29-year-old suffered his first-ever loss against Junior dos Santos at UFC Fight Night 142 in 2018. He went on to lose twice more against Blagoy Ivanov and Serghei Spivak in back-to-back outings.

Tuivasa now has an overall UFC record of 8 wins and 5 losses in the organization. However, 'Bam Bam' has consistently fought tough opposition, especially in his most recent outings, so it's highly unlikely that his current losing streak will cause any contract issues.
