Conor McGregor is undoubtedly the biggest draw in mixed martial arts. But is the Irishman trying to replicate similar success in Hollywood? Well, McGregor's silver screen debut in Road House is currently in production. However, it doesn't seem like 'The Notorious' is keen to get back to the movie-star life.
During an appearance on The MMA Hour, the former UFC two-division champion stated that film-making demands excruciatingly long hours and hard work, and he is not necessarily keen to try his hands at being an actor. McGregor elaborated, saying that all affairs, including fight camps, pale in comparison to the tremendous effort that constitutes into making a movie:
"Oh, geez it was tough Ariel, it was very, very tough, very long days... It made me feel that everything else was easy. See right now what I'm doing, I'm doing a lot of work going around. The Ultimate Fighter is a lot of work, even training camp and all the rest of it, all that pales in comparison to the work that it takes to make a movie... Am I eager to get back in there? Not necessarily."
He added that he might reconsider working on more films if Road House ends up being to his liking.

Although Conor McGregor is rumored to be portraying one of the original characters from the 1989 film, his exact role is yet to be revealed.
Conor McGregor eying a welterweight title shot if he triumphs over Michael Chandler
During the same interview on The MMA Hour, Conor McGregor confirmed that his upcoming fight with TUF 31 coaching rival Michael Chandler will be at welterweight. The two are scheduled to fight later this year, however, neither a date nor a location for the fight has yet been finalized.
Interestingly, 'The Notorious' is eyeing a crack at the 170-pound title if he manages to get his hand raised against 'Iron.' Responding to Ariel Helwani's question on whether he would like to fight the winner of Kamaru Usman vs. Leon Edwards 3 if he wins against Chandler, McGregor said:
"Yeah, I'd like that, yeah, I'd like to have a [title] shot. I may be present for the card [Kamaru Usman vs. Leon Edwards 3]... We got to watch out that welterweight title for sure."
Usman and Edwards are set to lock horns at the upcoming UFC 286 on Saturday, March 18, at the O2 Arena in London.
