William Zepeda vs. Giovanni Cabrera went down Saturday night at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California. The fight card consisted of a total of nine fights. let's have a look at the results from the event.

In the main event, Undefeated Mexican lightweight William Zepeda delivered another impressive performance, securing a third-round knockout over Giovanni Cabrera.

The bout began with both fighters exchanging punches in the opening round, with Cabrera initially getting the better of the exchanges. He managed to rough up Zepeda and shove him into the corner as the round ended. However, Zepeda found his rhythm in the second round, landing crisp and clean punches that began to back Cabrera up.

As the fight moved into the third round, Zepeda dominated the inside exchanges, outworking and outhustling Cabrera. A powerful body shot from Zepeda sent Cabrera to his knees, unable to beat the count of referee Thomas Taylor, who stopped the fight at 1:58 of the round.

William Zepeda vs. Giovanni Cabrera undercard: Ricardo Sandoval secures controversial stoppage win

Ricardo Sandoval secured a disputed tenth-round TKO victory over former world champion Angel Acosta in a close-fought flyweight clash.

Sandoval landed a clean uppercut at the end of the second round, but Acosta remained composed and fought back effectively. Both fighters exchanged blows in close quarters throughout the middle rounds, with neither gaining a clear advantage.

Acosta appeared to take control in the later stages, particularly in the ninth round. However, in the final round, Sandoval trapped Acosta against the ropes and landed punches that prompted referee Raul Caiz Jr. to stop the fight at 1:23 (10th round), a decision that left Acosta and his team visibly frustrated.

Manuel Flores cemented his place as a rising contender with a stunning second-round knockout victory over Nohel Arambulet in a junior featherweight matchup.

Flores wasted no time establishing control, peppering Arambulet with sharp left jabs throughout the opening round. He then unleashed a powerful right hook in the second that sent the Las Vegas fighter crashing to the canvas. Arambulet bravely attempted to continue but was met with another devastating blow, leaving referee Jerry Cantu no choice but to wave off the fight.

This dominant win improves Flores' record to 18-1 with 14 victories by knockout.

Meanwhile, 21-year-old Joel Iriarte successfully stopped Yainel Alvarez in a six-round welterweight match.

Iriarte showcased his precision from the start, landing clean shots that quickly put Alvarez on the defensive. The first round saw Iriarte tagging Alvarez with well-placed punches, setting the pace for the bout. As the fight progressed into the second round, Iriarte's dominance became evident. He unleashed a relentless series of punches that overwhelmed Alvarez, leaving him unable to mount any effective defense.

The referee was forced to step in and stop the fight at 2:41 of the second round.

In another clash, Pedro Campa defeated Alex Martin via unanimous decision in a ten-round super lightweight bout. Despite both fighters losing points for holding, Campa's aggressive inside fighting and a knockdown in the final round secured scores of 97-90, 96-91, and 94-93.

Featherweight Gael Cabera secured a third-round stoppage win over Mychaquell Shields. Cabrera dominated with precise punches, knocking Shields down twice before a body shot ended the fight at 1:09 of the third round.

Elsewhere in the card, Joshua Garcia won a decision over Jason Buenaobra. Garcia dominated from the opening bell, staggering Buenaobra in the second round. The judges scored the bout 59-55, 58-56, and 57-57.

Middleweight prospect Anthony Saldiva showcased his skills by stopping Roman Canto in two rounds. Saldivar's precise punches and reach advantage proved decisive, forcing the referee to halt the bout at 54 seconds of round two as Canto turned away.

Daniel Luna secured a first-round TKO victory over Joseph Walker. 'Ikaika's relentless offense overwhelmed Walker, prompting referee Raul Caiz Jr. to stop the fight at the end of round one.

Featherweight Japhethlee Llamido outlasted Ryan Allen in a hard-fought battle. Despite Allen's aggressive start, Llamido's strategy and precision earned him a unanimous decision victory after eight rounds.
