With Jon Jones in mind, Tom Aspinall buys his pet dog a toy duck [VIDEO]

Tom Aspinall has been calling out for a heavyweight title unification fight against Jon Jones for a long time now. But Jones has been pretty adamant in his stance about ignoring his callouts and justifying his reasons towards not fighting Aspinall.

A large chunk of the UFC community stands with Aspinall in this story. Lots of fans have accused 'Bones' of ducking the interim heavyweight champ in fear of a defeat.

Recently, Aspinall seemingly laid out a subtle diss at his adversary. He took the literal side of the fan accusations into consideration and bought a toy 'duck' for his pet dog. Aspinall also shared a video of the duck toy in his Instagram story without mentioning Jones anywhere. However, most MMA fans realized his intent pretty well.

It remains to be seen whether Aspinall's duck video proves to be enough to change Jones' mind.

Tom Aspinall fired shots at Jon Jones after the latter diminished his achievements

Jon Jones appeared in a recent interview with the MMA journalist, Kevin Iole, where he justified turning a deaf ear to Aspinall's callouts while also diminishing his achievements in the UFC. Jones said:

"I feel like Tom Aspinall is, I don't want to say 'nobody', but he just hasn't proven anything. He hasn't done anything"

Aspinall didn't take his adversary's remarks pretty well. He uploaded an Instagram reel, highlighting Jones' words and then showcasing his UFC achievements. His diss for his rival lay at the very end as the video closed with a snap of Jones accompanied by a duck's quack in the background.
