You don't want to be on the receiving end of Nong-O Hama's legendary roundhouse kicks. The first and only ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion is a fundamentalist of the tallest order.
He is the perfect example of the famous Bruce Lee quote: "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times."
This was highly evident when Nong-O Hama defended his throne againt Japanese shoot boxer and MMA fighter Hiroaki Suzuki in a complete shutout performance. The ONE bantamweight Muay Thai kick unleashed an unbelievable amount of roundhouse kicks to Suzuki's body and head. The technique, precision and power were all on-point every time he launched his whip-like kicks.

The resulting image showed Suzuki's entire left side so swollen and bruised it looked like tenderized meat. It was absolutely gruesome. ONE Championship posted highlights of the bout on Instagram:
"He's gonna feel that in the morning 😖 Can Nong-O kick his way to another successful ONE World Title defense when he takes on Jonathan Haggerty at ONE Fight Night 9 on Prime Video? @nongogaiyanghadao"
On April 21 at ONE Fight Night 9, Nong-O Hama will defend his world title for a record 8th straight time. Across the Circle from him will be former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Jonathan 'The General' Haggerty, who is moving up a weight class to challenge for a second world title.
Jonathan Haggerty has had moments in the past when he had trouble dealing with body attacks. His last loss, which was at the hands of ONE flyweight Muay Thai king Rodtang Jitmuangnon, was caused by relentless attacks to the body. It would be interesting to see if Nong-O Hama decides to bank early in their bout and land his legendary body kick on Jonathan Haggerty.
ONE Fight Night 9 will air live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
