Danny Kingad is working to improve his stand-up game ahead of Friday's highly anticipated scrap with eight-time titleholder Adriano Moraes.

After dropping three of his last five, 'The King' is desperate to climb back into the win column—but doing so will be no easy task when he takes on one of the greatest flyweight fighters in mixed martial arts history.

Kingad will square off with Moraes as part of an absolutely loaded ONE 169 card inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Their bout could very well decide the next potential challenger for the recently vacated flyweight MMA world title. As such, Kingad is leaving no stone unturned to ensure he has the best chance of besting 'Mikinho' on the biggest global stage in martial arts.

Speaking to ONE Championship, ahead of his return to the ring, Kingad said:

“Right now, I’m working with boxing coach, Don Colas, to work on my power".

In recent years, Kingad has struggled to consistently be in the win column, alternating wins and losses ever since he suffered a unanimous decision defeat against P4P great Demetrious Johnson in the ONE Flyweight MMA World Grand Prix tournament.

In the time since, 'The King' has seen his hand raised against division standouts like Xie Wei and Eko Roni Saputra, but failed to maintain his momentum in losses against Kairat Akhmetov and Yuya Wakamatsu.

Meanwhile, Moraes will be making his first appearance inside the ring since coming up short a critically acclaimed trilogy bout with 'Mighty Mouse' at ONE Fight Night 10 last year.
