On Saturday night, Dober fought rising prospect Jean Silva for a lightweight bout. Heading into the action-packed matchup, Dober was coming off a unanimous decision loss against Renato Moicano. Meanwhile, Silva looked to continue building momentum after knocking out Charles Jourdain on June 29 at UFC 303.
Silva accepted the short-notice opportunity after Dober's previous opponent, Mike Davis, pulled out due to a severe injury. 'Lord' showcased an impressive during the three-round bout and produced a massive cut above Dober's eye, leading to a doctor's stoppage in the final frame to extend his UFC record to 3-0.

Drew Dober's latest defeat pushed his UFC record to 13-10 (one no-contest). Luckily, the action-packed lightweight isn't ready to hang up the gloves, as he believes there's plenty of gas left in the tank.
