Sean O'Malley has not forgotten about Ilia Topuria as he prepares for his second title defense against Merab Dvalishvili. Amid his ongoing feud with Topuria and Dvalishvili, O'Malley took a shot at both Georgian fighters on social media.
Seemingly unprompted, O'Malley called out Topuria and Dvalishvili on X with a controversial post on X:
"Are all Georgians runts? @Ilia @MerabDvalishvil"

Aside from O'Malley's die-hard fans, most did not take kindly to the post. Some found the post discriminatory and expressed their disapproval in the comments.
One fan commented:
"Would you say that to Roman Dolidze if you bumped into him at the PI?"
Other fans said:
"Bro I'm trying to be your fan"
"You suck at promoting fights"
"God you're so funny my glorious rainbow hair king"

Sean O'Malley's title run
The fight with Merab Dvalishvili will mark Sean O'Malley's second title defense after dominating Marlon 'Chito' Vera in the UFC 299 main event.
O'Malley improved to 18-1 in his career with the win and 2-0 as the UFC champion after beating Aljamain Sterling to win the belt.
Despite the dominant nature of his win over Vera, many fans feel UFC 306 will mark the true first title defense for O'Malley. Riding a 10-fight win streak, Dvalishvili has been the essential No. 1 contender in the bantamweight division for over a year.
Still just 29 years old, O'Malley has the ability to be a long-reigning champion in the division but has been calling for a fight with Ilia Topuria since winning the belt at UFC 292.
