Conor McGregor and BKFC founder Dave Feldman are as close as can be, with the latter recently reaffirming his loyalty to the Irishman in an interview with Ariel Helwani. This is despite the fact that the UFC star is currently embroiled in tremendous controversy following the verdict of the Nikita Hand civil court case.
The Irish High Court found McGregor liable for assaulting Hand in an incident dating back to late 2018. However, Feldman feels that the verdict should have no bearing on his relationship with McGregor, arguing that his loyalty in the Irishman will not waver regardless of the circumstances.
"Look. Whatever may have happened, whatever the accusations was, I'm not getting involved with that. What I'm getting involved with is a guy that was with us. Our partner, our friend was kicked when he was down and we're not gonna kick him when he was down."
Instead, Feldman believes he's obligated, as a close associate of the ex-UFC champion, to stand by him in the face of controversy.

"We're gonna lift him up, and that's what we're trying to do because I believe that if you're with somebody, you're with somebody 100%. My dad has a saying that, 'You can't be 99% loyal. You're either 100% or get out of here.' You can't be with someone 99 times and the 100th it goes wrong, you turn your back on them."

McGregor's connection with the BKFC has led to tremendous visibility for the promotion, so it is easy to see why Feldman is unwilling to abandon ship. However, the same cannot be said about the other business with whom McGregor was once affiliated.
Conor McGregor was dropped by numerous other business partners and entities
After Conor McGregor was found liable for assaulting Nikita Hand, he received such condemnation that he was alienated by several entities. IO Interactive, the developer of the 'Hitman: World of Assassination' video game removed a DLC in which McGregor was the central character.
"In light of the recent court ruling regarding Conor McGregor, IO Interactive has made the decision to cease its collaboration with the athlete, effective immediately."
Multiple retailers and wholesalers, like Tesco Ireland, Centra, SuperValu, and more, removed all of McGregor's alcoholic products from their shelves. This prompted Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey to sever all ties with McGregor, no longer using his likeness for promotional material.
Moreover, a gym in Ireland painted over a mural of McGregor in their walls, while pub chains stopped selling his Forged Irish Stout.
