Jean Silva has launched a fiery attack on undefeated featherweight prospect Movsar Evloev, criticizing him for allegedly refusing to fight at UFC 307. Evloev was scheduled to take on Aljamain Sterling at the Oct. 5 pay-per-view event. However, Sterling's withdrawal from the card due to injury has forced Evloev out of the event too.
The UFC attempted to secure a replacement for Evloev's fight, but many contenders allegedly expressed interest only if given more time to prepare. Evloev's withdrawal from the card drew mixed reactions from fans, with some claiming that the lack of potential opponents showcases Evloev’s dominance. Meanwhile, others suggest his absence from the octagon might not be missed, given his lack of finishes.
Silva addressed the Evloev situation on his Instagram stories, asserting that the Russian has "not accepted" to fight him yet. He wrote:
"It's very ugly to say that you fight with anyone when you don't even believe in yourself. You said that I am more dangerous than @funkmastermma, but you have not accepted to fight me yet."[H/t: @DovySimuMMA on X]

He added:
"@movsar_evloev_94 doesn't fight just anyone, your talk is already boring. You want to fight with someone you know you can take down and win the fight that way. But I have bad news for you: you will have to step into that cage with me sooner or later. Enjoy it while you can, because it's coming to an end."

Bryce Mitchell claims he wants to fight Movsar Evloev next on one condition
UFC featherweight prospect Bryce Mitchell has learned from his mistakes after succumbing to a devastating knockout loss in his short-notice fight against Josh Emmett at UFC 296.
While Mitchell is eager to face Movsar Evloev next, he wants to invest enough time in preparation before taking on the Russian. That being said, the American seeks to respect Aljamain Sterling's claim to fight Evloev.
Speaking to The Schmo regarding a potential clash with Evloev, Mitchell said:
“I don’t want to take the fight from Aljo [Sterling]. I wouldn’t take the fight from Aljo. I’m buddies with Aljo. So if Aljo don’t want to fight him in a couple of months because he needs more time and they need somebody, I’m the dude. There’s not a bigger draw. Who else are you going to get to fight Movsar that will fill up seats? Let’s be realistic: I’m going to bring the people there. People want to see me fight Movsar, I want to kick his ass because he’s being a little b*stard to me.” [H/t: MMA Junkie]
