Promising lightweight contender Renato Moicano is self-assured he's winning the title next year, but some fans aren't so sure about it.
Recently, the 35-year-old took to X to confidently claim that the 155-pound title will be wrapped around his waist by next year. The Brazilian's most recent outing saw him bludgeon Benoit Saint Denis in Paris this month, where he took home a doctor stoppage victory over the Frenchman. 'Money' uploaded a highlight reel of him beating the 'God of War' and wrote:

While some lauded Moicano's determination to be a champion, many fans were less optimistic about the 35-year-old's pursuit of gold. They took to the comments to oppose the Brazilian's outlook.
One fan reminded 'Money' of the rankings and that solid contenders like Paddy Pimblett stand between him and a title shot:
"not even a top 10 fighter what makes you think you deserve a title shot over actual good fighters, you need to get through paddy first."
However, there were few who lauded Moicano for his impressive performance.
"Damn flipping right"
"Chasing that title! Let’s go! 🏆🔥💪 #UFC"
