Fight fans have watched Jonathan Haggerty grow and evolve into an elite striker during his time in ONE Championship.
Having arrived in the promotion as a young and rising star, he's now a veteran of the striking arts who has learned a lot through this journey. One of the biggest things that 'The General' has learned during his years at the very top of Muay Thai is composure.
Going into fights fired up can provide some extra hunger and motivation but it's not always the best way to approach a fight. Haggerty instead believes that being calm, composed, and dialled in works best for him as an incredibly technical fighter.
He spoke about this during a recent appearance on the Winners Talking Podcast, where he reflected on his career.

During the interview, Jonathan Haggerty stressed on the importance of being at peace when you step inside the ring:
"I think in the fight game you need to be relaxed. You can't go in a fight tensed and stressed up. You have to be calm before you decide to do what you wanna do. If you're angry or stressed, it can take a toll on you."

Jonathan Haggerty is still learning and evolving
Jonathan Haggerty may have come very far during his time in ONE Championship but this journey is far from over.
The Brit is still learning and improving as a result and this showed in his recent loss at ONE 168.
Haggerty is now ready to dust himself off and get back to work after taking note of where he went wrong last time out in Denver.
The ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion still had many chapters left in his career that he is yet to write.
As such, it's safe to say 'The General' will bounce back stronger than ever as he has done in the past in an attempt to regain his status as a two-sport world champion in ONE Championship.
