The long-standing beef between former interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington and NBA legend LeBron James continues. At the UFC on ESPN 63 pre-fight presser, Covington opened his segment by going all out on James again. The basketball icon, despite being the target of many verbal attacks from the UFC star for years, hasn't responded to any of them.

Before a member of the press even got a question in for Covington, 'Chaos' pre-empted his interview by starting with a rage-filled rant on James, saying:

"I'm going to start this off, you know, since I'm the man of the hour. The man of the show. I just wanna ask LeBron. What does he mean by, 'There's no party like a Diddy party'? I truly want to know. And not only that, LeBron, how many Diddy parties have you actually been to? I'm really curious to know."

James continued:

"Is that the reason why you don't have social media? Because of the backlash that you're going to get going to so many Diddy parties? Just pathetic, man. People think this guy is a role model. Wants to defund the police. The most patriot people in America. Serving and protecting our country. LeBron, you're a f*cking scumbag. And I hope you get locked up in the same cell with Diddy."

Colby Covington to face Joaquin Buckley in the main event of UFC on ESPN 63

At UFC on ESPN 63 on December 14, Colby Covington will headline the final UFC fight card of the year alongside rising welterweight star Joaquin Buckley. 'Chaos' stepped in on late notice to replace Ian Machado Garry, who was plucked out of the card to face Shavkat Rakhmonov last weekend at UFC 310.

This fight marks the return of Covington to action after nearly a year away from the octagon. His last fight was a losing effort against former UFC welterweight champ Leon Edwards at UFC 296 last year. The loss was the third attempt by the American fighter at winning a UFC title, losing in all bouts.

As for Buckley, the No. 9-ranked welterweight is on a five-fight winning streak, with his most recent one being a KO victory over divisional legend Stephen Thompson. Buckley is also the owner of the 2020 Knockout of the Year, putting Impa Kasanganay with a two-touch spinning backkick.
