Former interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington recently attended US presidential candidate Donald Trump's rally in New York City. Covington interacted with fans, signed some autographs, and took a few footage of the rally attendees.

As one of Trump's strongest supporters from the MMA world, 'Chaos' largely found himself in his element while interacting and immersing himself with the large crowd of Republicans.

Posting the video on Instagram, Covington wrote in the caption:

"Thank you NYC🗽… Time to Make America Great Again!!!"

Donald Trump on Colby Covington: "This is a true fighter"

As mentioned, Colby Covington is the longest-running public supporter of Donald Trump from the MMA world. Ever since his 'Chaos' persona came out years ago, the man started wearing MAGA (Make America Great Again) hats and mentioning the former US president's name in nearly every opportunity he gets in front of a mic.

In return, Trump expressed his admiration for the outspoken welterweight, acknowledging his presence at the Turning Point USA's Chapter Leadership Summit last year. During his speech, the former US President had some glowing words of praise for Covington, saying:

"This is a true fighter. This is a real fighter. This is not the fighter with the lips, the mouth, the teeth. This is the real deal. He's a champion fighter, UFC. He has got a huge fight coming up, one of the biggest. I don't know how the hell they do it. You know, 400, 500 shots to the head. And he's smarter than hell. I mean, how does that work? But he's here with us, champion, Colby Covington."
