Denis Puric is adamant that Johan Ghazali has yet to match his level.
The Bosnian knockout machine brushed off Ghazali's challenge for an inter-generational matchup, believing that the young phenom was biting off more than he could chew.
Taking to Instagram, Puric said Ghazali is better off building another winning streak instead of jumping into the lions' den and challenging him to a fight inside the ONE Championship circle.

Denis Puric said:
"Just got back from a Euro tour, teaching seminars all over Europe, and I've seen this kid. Jojo, Jojo, Jojo. I've seen this kid calling me out, and look here kid, you're not ready for all the smoke, man. I don't think you're ready for it, and honestly, I'm not looking to fight up-and-comers or beat up teenagers."
He added:
"Look, I'm gonna save you this time, okay? You should be calling out guys like Freddie Haggerty or Ramadan Ondash, those types of guys. They're better fights for you, you're not ready for this level of a*s-whooping I'm about to deliver. Now look, if ONE Championship wants it and the fans want it, I never say no to fights. I'd be glad to come over there and hand out some whooping."
Ghazali, 17, is one of the best young stars on the planet and holds an impressive 6-1 record in ONE Championship.
His lone loss in the promotion was against five-time Muay Thai world champion Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat, a man Puric knocked out when they squared off at ONE Fight Night 17.
Puric, a veteran of 41 wins, is also coming off an absolute dogfight against ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion in their catchweight kickboxing battle at ONE 167.
Johan Ghazali says a matchup against Denis Puric would be an all-gas, no-breaks affair
Johan Ghazali is incapable of putting on a boring match, and that same quality drew him to call out Denis Puric for a potential fight.
The Malaysian-American phenom is coming off a stunning first-round knockout win over Josue Cruz at ONE 168: Denver at Ball Arena, and he said in his media scrum this past weekend why he wants to face off against 'The Bosnian Menace':
"To be honest, nobody wants to see someone tip-tap-toe to a decision win. That's just not entertaining. That's exactly why I want to call out Denis Puric. I want to fight Denis Puric. He's a good fighter, he won't run, he's strong, he's been in the game for quite some time, and I'm sure it'll be a good fight."
