Anthony Hernandez recently shared his thoughts on the upcoming Robert Whittaker vs. Khamzat Chimaev middleweight clash at UFC 308 this weekend. The event will take place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi and will be headlined by a featherweight title fight between Ilia Topuria and Max Holloway.
Whittaker is coming off a statement first-round knockout victory over Ikram Aliskerov at UFC Saudi Arabia earlier this year and is now on a two-fight win streak. Meanwhile, the undefeated Chimaev last beat Kamaru Usman via majority decision at UFC 294 last October.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Hernandez shared his thoughts on the clash but was unsure of how it would play out. While he admitted Whittaker was a dangerous fighter, he pointed out that Dricus du Plessis knocked him out in the second round of their fight and said:

"I don't know how it's going to lay out. It's like Whittaker's so f**king dangerous on the feet and he's got good wrestling defense but at the same time, you see what 'DDP' did to him and it's hard to guess how it plays out."

Robert Whittaker previews UFC 308 clash against Khamzat Chimaev
Robert Whittaker recently shared his thoughts on his upcoming Khamzat Chimaev fight and broke down how he expected the fight to play out. The New Zealand-born Australian stated that he intended to take the fight to his opponent and expected a "war" against the Chechen-born fighter.
In a UFC 308 pre-fight presser, Whittaker shared a chilling preview of the co-main event and said:
"I'm expecting him to come out hard and aggressive from the first second to the last. I have prepared accordingly for that... I'm ready to sprint for 25 minutes if so, and I've come here for war... I look to go into this fight hunting him. Much like I planned to last fight, I look to do again this fight. I'm the hunter in this fight, I'm the predator, I'm gonna be looking for him."
