Dominant ONE lightweight kickboxing world champion Regian Eersel is one of the toughest men to wear gold in the sport.
'The Immortal' has not been knocked out in his 62-fight career so far and is not looking to change that any time soon. His iron chin has been a key factor in his aggressive, forward-moving style. This man can take a solid hit and fire back with no problem.
At ONE on Prime Video 3 on October 21, Regian Eersel will go for champ-champ status. He'll face Muay Thai sensation and divisional darkhorse Sinsamut Klinmee for the inaugural ONE lightweight Muay Thai world title.

During ONE's virtual media day faceoff interview, the Surinamese-Dutch striker was asked if he'd ever been KO'd by an elbow, since Sinsamut is known for his Muay Thai prowess.
To answer this question, Regian Eersel responded:
"How you can prepare for it, I really don’t know because I never got KO’d. When you’re going to fight, you also think about losing a fight. That’s normal. There’s both sides of winning and losing. But you have to make sure that you don’t think too much about losing. You have to think about winning, that’s why you fight. You fight to win, that’s the goal."
So it seems that Regian Eesel's iron chin has little to do with physical toughness but mental fortitude. It's quite admirable how strong his mettle is as he continually faces the best strikers in the world today.
We'll see at ONE on Prime Video 3 if mental fortitude is enough for the 'Immortal' to withstand the power of Sinsamut Klinmee.

Regian Eersel is impressed by Sinsamut Klinmee's meteoric rise in ONE Championship
In a separate interview with ONE Championship, Regian Eersel acknowledged the impressive run of his challenger, Sinsamut Klinmee, in ONE Championship.
'The Immortal' expressed his admiration for the Thai's assault on ONE's lightweight kickboxing ranks:
“The way he’s fighting, of course. He looks very good, fights very good, his KO power. He knocked out his last two opponents and that was impressive.”
Sinsamut made a huge splash in his ONE debut by knocking out kickboxing legend Nieky Holzken at ONE X. After his shocking upset win, 'Aquaman' followed it up with a one-punch devastation of former WBC Muay Thai world champion ‘Lethal’ Liam Nolan.
Despite the fact that he's only had two fights in ONE so far, the way Sinsamut demolished his foes, not to mention the caliber of his opponents, was enough to earn him a shot at the belt.
