“You will succeed” - Anatoly Malykhin credits his insane psyche as one of the reasons to his unparalleled success

Three-division ONE MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin believes that as much as he credits his fighting skills for the immense success he has had in his career, important as well is the go-getting mindset he brings every time he competes

'Sladkiy' shared this in an interview with ONE Championship, ahead of his title defense of the heavyweight strap at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Nov. 8 in Thailand. He urged fans to take cue from how approaches his career, saying:

"I just want people to realize, if you believe in something strongly and you are ready to sacrifice a lot, then you will succeed."

Anatoly Malykhin, 36, is surely go-getting since turning professional in 2016. He has been undefeated in 14 matches to date, the last six under ONE Championship, with the last four having world title implications.

It is the same mindset he will use when he defends the heavyweight belt against Senegalese challenger Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane at ONE 169. The fight will take place in Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium and air live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.

Apart from being the heavyweight world chamnpion, Malykhin also holds the ONE middleweight and light heavyweight championship belts.

ONE heavyweight MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin vows to be explosive once again in his scheduled title defense against Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane at ONE 169 on Nov. 8 in Thailand. He said he is looking to make short work of his challenger to sustain his streak of impressive finishes.

He made this known in an interview with ONE Championship, asserting that he is bent on finishing his Senegalese opponent in the opening round of their headlining match.

The Russian juggernaut said:

"We just wait [a few] days, [a few more] days of fear in his head, and then a first-round knockout."

Anatoly Malykhin has won all of his six matches so far in ONE Championship, which all came by way of knockout.

ONE 169 will mark the first time that 'Sladkiy' will defend the ONE heavyweight world title after unitying the division's championship belts in June last year with TKO victory over former divisional king Arjan Bhullar.
