After his return to the win column at ONE 168, Johan Ghazali was asked about the potential of a fight that the fans want to see.
The teenage striking prospect has put together a stellar run so far in ONE Championship. Having built his name on the Friday Fights series, he's back with a victory on the main roster after suffering his first defeat last time out at ONE 167.
There is another exciting rising star who has also been making some noise on the Friday Fights series. Freddie Haggerty, the younger brother of Jonathan Haggerty, has gone undefeated thus far since signing with the promotion.
After a bit of back and forth between the two on social media, Ghazali spoke in his post-fight media scrum about the potential of that fight happening in the near future:

"Freddie Haggerty has shown some interest in this fight, he's been throwing jabs on social media. A lot of people want to see that fight. You know, I've seen the comments. I've seen social media. People want to see the young guns go at it. So, yeah, I think I have some interest in that fight as well."

Johan Ghazali has a lot of exciting options ahead of him
Both Johan Ghazali and Freddie Haggerty are still so young in their careers that they're destined to meet at one stage or another.
Having stopped Josue Cruz at the Ball Arena in Denver, Ghazali is going to try and keep this momentum pushing forward as one of the brightest stars in striking right now.
Judging by what he has already accomplished, the 17-year-old is going to leave behind some legacy if he continues to compete at the highest level.
That means facing off with the greats of his era and due to their ages, Freddie Haggerty will surely have the same ambitions.
