Even with the advantage of youth by his side, ONE lightweight MMA rising star Adrian Lee has already developed the habit of prioritizing wellness and recovery above everything else.
The 18-year-old teenage prodigy certainly adapts a workhorse attitude during his intense training sessions with his brother and reigning two-division MMA world champion Christian Lee.
However, the youngest of the Lee brood is careful not to hinder his progress by overworking his mind and body.
In a recent interview with Cageside Press, 'The Phenom' says he totally decompresses during his rest days and makes sure his body is well-rested for the never-ending grind.

"You'd find me in bed on the rest days, which is Sundays. I just sleep all day. I sleep, eat, recover. I do anything I can to get all the rest and recover to the fullest."
Adrian Lee's insightful wisdom is not surprising considering he comes from a lineage of MMA royalty.
Following a flawless debut last June, the Singaporean-American upstart worked tirelessly behind closed doors for his upcoming sophomore outing at ONE: 168 Denver this coming Friday, September 6.
Lee will slug it out with hometown bet Nico Cornejo in a three-round lightweight MMA tiff at Ball Arena.
Adrian Lee's confidence comes from training with two-division world champion Christian Lee
Adrian Lee has the utmost trust in his abilities no matter the opposition. This belief in himself comes from training with one of the best fighters on the planet, reigning ONE lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion Christian Lee.
According to the Prodigy Training Center affiliate, he's beyond grateful to have 'The Warrior' constantly watching his back. He said in the same interview:
"I'm so lucky to train with the double-champ every day. It was really quite the experience."
