Johan Ghazali could not have asked for better mentors when he prepared for his next matchup against Johan Estupinan.

The teenage phenom spent months honing his arsenal at Superbon Training Camp in preparation for Estupinan in their flyweight Muay Thai contest at the stacked ONE 170 card on Friday at Impact Arena.

Ghazali was in the presence of legends when he decided to move to Bangkok to train with ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon, Nong-O Hama, and Petchtanong Petchfergus.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Ghazali said the trio of Muay Thai and kickboxing legends helped him achieve his best form heading into ONE 170.

Johan Ghazali said:

"They’ve helped me find the best version of myself. And this fight at ONE 170 will definitely show the best version of me, for sure. I can’t wait."

Petchtanong is a former ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion, while Nong-O was the inaugural ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion and is often in the conversation for the greatest Muay Thai artist of all time.

Ghazali has his home gym Rentap Muay Thai in his native Malaysia, but he decided to move to Bangkok and join Superbon's facility ahead of ONE 170.

'Jojo' is one of the most electrifying young stars on the planet, and his ferocious style led him to an impressive 6-1 record in ONE Championship.

The Malaysian-American is a near-unstoppable force with five knockout wins against Padetsuk Fairtex, Tai Sor Jor Piek Uthai, Temirlan Bekmurzaev, Edgar Tabares, and Josue Cruz.

Ghazali now looks to bump his profile to a higher level when he takes on the undefeated Estupinan.

'Panda Kick' is a perfect 26-0 in his career, with four wins under ONE Championship's banner.

The Colombian spitfire has three knockout wins against Kouta Omori, Sean Climaco, and Zakaria El Jamari.

Johan Ghazali wants to unleash his version of Superbon's signature headkicks

Superbon established himself as one of the most lethal kickers in the sport, and Johan Ghazali wants to use his version of the ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion's one-shot killers.

Ghazali told Sportskeeda MMA he's been learning Superbon's signature head kicks and plans to unleash what he learned on Johan Estupinan when they square off inside the Circle at ONE 170.

"Of course, I'm constantly evolving. Come January 24, you will see an improved and differently-styled Johan Ghazali. And yeah, I've been learning Superbon's trademark technique. The best way to perfect it is to learn from the master himself. So you'll definitely see some surprises from me in this fight."
