Half a year ago, episode #2160 of The Joe Rogan Experience welcomed First Class Space Agency CEO Billy Carson. During the pair's sitdown, they discussed the technological trend that they believed the United States has been following in recent years, with Rogan speculating on its future.
According to him, the American labor force will be largely automated by worker robots within the next decade or so. This, Rogan believes, will lead to a dystopian future wherein Americans will receive a $200,000 sum of money for their basic needs, turning those concerns into fairly trivial ones.
"Imagine the entire country gets a free $200 grand a year. You're never gonna have to worry about food, you're never going to have to worry about a place to live. You're good. You've got $200,000 a year because everything's automated, everything's done by the government. Then, you're going to have find something."
The longtime UFC commentator further elaborates on what such a hypothetical future would look like.

"We put an emphasis in our culture on creating and doing things that interest you, and whether it's competition or whatever it is, but this will be financed essentially by this ability that you just get free money because robots control everything. No more jobs."
