Ahead of his rumored return to the octagon, rumors have begun circulating as to who Henry Cejudo will face. A new post on social media may have added another name to that list.

The former champ-champ has been vocal about his comeback, and has made it known that he wants to fight for the title when he eventually steps foot back into the cage. His ideal matchup is a featherweight title clash against Alexander Volkanovski, but that fight is in jeopardy due to the UFC's plans with the Australian.

In a post on social media, the returning Henry Cejudo fired shots at fellow bantamweight Chito Vera after the Ecuadorian competitor revealed his new head tattoo, saying:

"Now you are a p*ssy in the front and the back."

Vera's head tattoo has been receiving mixed reviews from fighters and fans since he posted it earlier this week, which prompted Cejudo to give his honest opinion on the artwork. Despite the criticism, the 29-year-old is a fan of traditional tattoos and has a handful of ink on display across his body.

The South American isn't the first man to be trolled by the Olympic gold medalist over social media, with the wrestler picking fights with numerous athletes across the sport of MMA.

Both men are in a similar position in their division as the pair are within touching distance of a title shot. Both will have to wait until Aljamain Sterling is ready to compete to get their hands on UFC gold.

Is Henry Cejudo vs. Chito Vera the fight to make?

With Aljamain Sterling's hiatus holding up the bantamweight division, there are a number of elite fighters waiting on the sidelines for his return, but who is the rightful number-one contender?

Henry Cejudo's recent comments on Chito Vera could open up a potential title eliminator bout between the two, but is this the way that the UFC would like to see it play out?

Sean O'Malley is ranked #1 after his impressive display against Petr Yan during his last octagon appearance. Considering his history with the Ecuadorian, it's arguably a better option to let the two strikers fight.

That leaves Henry Cejudo having to search elsewhere for a fight. While he has a selection of fighters to choose from, the 35-year-old could leave a sour taste in Sterling's mouth if he fights and takes out the champion's friend, Merab Dvalishvili.
