#3. Danielle Kelly wants to be the first ONE atomweight submission grappling world champion

Danielle Kelly has seen how submission grappling has grown under the ONE Championship banner. Now, she wants to achieve bigger things for herself and the sport.

The 27-year-old has been instrumental in pushing the sport to a whole new level. The next feat she wants to achieve is to become the first female atomweight submission grappling world champion in ONE Championship.

Kelly saw the rise of Mikey Musumeci and Kade Ruotolo when they became the inaugural ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion and ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion, respectively.

In an interview with The MMA Superfan, Kelly said that her goal is to become the first ONE women’s atomweight submission grappling world champion:

“I would hope to be the first jiu-jitsu girl for ONE Championship, [to] be a champion for 115. I've been taking it seriously. The only break I had was during the holidays. Now they called me up for this match, I've just been working and training. Training with everybody. I'm studying my opponents. I'm studying other girls, keeping busy.”

The Silver Fox BJJ fighter is set to face Ayaka Miura at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video in a landmark fight. While it’s not for a world title, Kelly and Miura’s match will be the first women’s submission grappling bout at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok.

The card is slated for February 24 and is available live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.

#2. John Lineker looking to play to his strengths in rematch with Fabricio Andrade

John Lineker always knew that he owned pure napalm in his hands. He plans to use it in his rematch against Fabricio Andrade at ONE Fight Night 7 for the vacant ONE bantamweight world title.

Though he couldn’t get his offense going at ONE on Prime Video 3, Lineker is confident that he’s adjusted well enough to crack Andrade open.

‘Hands of Stone’, as he’s often called, is a ferocious puncher, with three of his four wins in ONE Championship ending via knockout.

Lineker, in an interview with Sportskeeda MMA, said he’s made adjustments to his game that will allow him to land that perfect one-hit deleter against Andrade on February 24:

“I'm going up to the cage to do my game, which is striking, and I'm going to get the knockout. But if I see that the fight isn't good for me, I'll change the strategy and put him down. Everything will depend on the striking, if I'm going to be able to play my game. I'm working on that.”

#1. Fabricio Andrade looking to move forward and finish the job against John Lineker

Fabricio Andrade was arguably inches away from becoming the ONE bantamweight world champion at ONE on Prime Video 3. His final blow, however, accidentally hit John Lineker’s nether regions.

With Lineker unable to get up from the mandatory recovery period, the match was ruled a no contest, resulting in ONE Championship's bantamweight division being left without a ruling world champion.

Having learned his lesson from ONE on Prime Video 3, Andrade is looking to correct his mistake and finally claim the vacant ONE bantamweight world title at ONE Fight Night 7.

Andrade, during an interview with the South China Morning Post, admitted that he wasn’t happy with the way he fought Lineker in their first match. With that, the rematch is his chance to ultimately finish the job:

“It is what it is, you can’t change the past. So you can't keep thinking about it. I was not happy with my performance. But now I got a chance to fight him again. And perform well, perform the way I want to perform. I'm actually happy that now we're going to fight again, and I have a chance to do everything differently.”

Andrade, just like Lineker, is one of the most dangerous strikers in ONE Championship. The 25-year-old has four finishes, three of which were knockouts, in his five wins in the promotion.
