#3. Tammi Musumeci wants to follow in Lee family footsteps, win world titles with brother Mikey

There could be another royal family in ONE Championship.

Angela Lee and her younger brother Christian Lee have, for years, dominated the promotion’s mixed martial arts circuit. Angela is the first and still reigning ONE women’s atomweight world champion, while Christian owns the ONE lightweight and welterweight world titles.

ONE Championship’s submission grappling scene, though, might just have a pair of siblings who can replicate the Lees’ success.

Mikey Musumeci is the inaugural ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion, while his older sister Tammi recently debuted inside the circle at ONE Fight Night 8 this past week.

Tammi, herself a five-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion, beat Brazil’s Bianca Basilio via unanimous decision in her first match. In her post-fight interview, Tammi said she’d like to achieve what the Lee siblings did but in submission grappling.

“It would mean so much to me to become a champion like my brother. It would be similar to what the Lee family has accomplished, and that would be really cool.”

#2. ONE Championship announces sell out of ONE Fight Night 10 card in Colorado

It’s still more than a month away, but ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video is already sold out.

ONE Championship announced the news on its Instagram page, and it seems the hype for the show continues to build heading into May 5.

“🚨 SOLD OUT 🚨 Thanks to all of our fans in America and around the world for supporting our U.S. debut! See you in Colorado on May 5 🇺🇸,” the promotion posted.

ONE Fight Night 10 is ONE Championship’s first on-site fight card in the United States and Colorado’s 1stBank Center will be the host of the historic event.

The trilogy match between ONE flyweight world champion Demetrious Johnson and Adriano Moraes will headline a stacked card that features two more world title matches.

Rodtang Jitmuangnon will defend the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title against Mexico’s Edgar Tabares, while Mikey Musumeci puts his ONE flyweight submission grappling world title on the line against Osamah Almarwai.

ONE Fight Night 10 is available live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.

#1. Superlek eyes Rodtang’s Muay Thai belt: “I deserve to challenge him for the title”

There have been four two-sport world champions in ONE Championship history, and Superlek Kiatmoo9 wants to make it five.

The reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion is coming off a thrilling third-round finish against Danial Williams at ONE Fight Night 8, and he’s now looking at a new piece of gold.

Superlek wants to face Rodtang Jitmuangnon for the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship, and he feels that he’s destined to challenge his fellow Thai superstar for the prestigious world title.

In his post-event interview, Superlek said:

“Of course, I think I deserve to challenge him for the title. Rodtang is the number one in Muay Thai, so I would like to try that.”

Superlek was originally set to defend his kickboxing belt against Rodtang at ONE Fight Night 8, but ‘The Iron Man’ had to pull out of the fight due to injury.

Williams, who was supposed to face Rui Botelho, was ultimately slotted in the card’s main event to face Superlek.
