ONE Championship has always prided itself on bringing the most explosive martial arts action on the planet, and those who do oftentimes get rewarded with a cool package.
The promotion boasts a ridiculous 70 percent finish rate, and even when fights don’t end in a stoppage, the action itself is mesmerizing to witness. With ONE Championship staging ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video this Friday, it can be argued that its finish rate could get a bit of a bump.
ONE Fight Night 8 is packed to the gills with martial arts action, with all four of ONE Championship’s sporting disciplines getting to shine under the bright lights.

Though it’s still a couple of days away, we can speculate who of the 20 athletes could take home a crisp $50,000 bonus check on March 24 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
ONE Fight Night 8 is ONE Championship’s third Amazon card of the year and will be broadcast live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
#3. Zhang Peimian
Chinese phenom Zhang Peimian is the perfect example of a young and exciting fighter.
The 19-year-old has taken the kickboxing world by storm and he’s walking into ONE Fight Night 8 with a renewed sense of vigor following his last match inside the circle.
Zhang seeks to get back into world title contention when he faces Russia’s Torepchi Dongak in a strawweight kickboxing fight. It's already shaping up to be a banger of a contest.
The young star from Shenzhen, China, wants nothing more than to put away Dongak in spectacular fashion and then call for a world title rematch against ONE strawweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Di Bella.
Zhang is also a bonus winner in ONE Championship, and in his debut no less, That came after he knocked out Australian Josh Tonna in the second round of their bout at ONE: Lights Out.
#2. Janet Todd
Janet Todd didn’t become a two-sport world champion by being passive. The American striker is one of the most lethal fighters on the planet and is carrying an insane wave of momentum in ONE Championship.
The 37-year-old is on a seven-fight winning streak and has knockout wins over Wang Chin Long, Ekaterina Vandaryeva, and Anne Lin Hogstad.
Mixing in technical mastery with explosive tenacity, Todd captured the ONE atomweight kickboxing world title from Stamp Fairtex in February 2020 via split decision. She then became the ONE interim atomweight Muay Thai world champion when beat Lara Fernandez in July 2022 via unanimous decision.
Todd is now heading into the biggest fight of her career when she attempts to unify the atomweight Muay Thai belts against Allycia Hellen Rodrigues, the ONE atomweight Muay Thai world champion, in the ONE Fight Night 8 co-main event.
#1. Superlek Kiatmoo9
The main event may have been shuffled a bit, but Superlek Kiatmoo9’s defense of his ONE flyweight kickboxing world title against Danial Williams is a certified barnburner of a closer.
Individually, both Superlek and Williams can bring intensity to a fight. Putting two and two together, though, will certainly create a striking explosion of epic proportions.
Superlek is called ‘The Kicking Machine’ for good reason, while Williams is a relentless force who only knows one approach, and that is to go forward.
The card’s final bonus does hang on the balance between these two, but it’s plausible that Superlek takes the bag in the ONE Fight Night 8 main event.
The Thai superstar has one-shot power and is fully capable of stopping a fight in an instant, just ask Walter Goncalves. If Superlek can’t get that immediate finish, then he’ll surely unleash a tempest of strikes that Williams could even have a hard time matching up to.
