ONE Championship's final Asian primetime blockbuster for 2024, ONE Friday Fights 92, takes place inside the Lumpinee Stadium this week. It has a fitting headline attraction that has all the makings of an instant classic.
Thai upstart Shadow Singha Mawynn locks horns against fellow countryman and multi-time world champion Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong in a featherweight Muay Thai fixture on the striking-only Dec. 20 bill.
Stylistically, both athletes share a similar appetite for entertainment. They never take a step back, go to work instantly, and always give it their all inside the circle.
Before ONE Friday Fights 92 goes down, Sportskeeda MMA's ONE Championship team gave their predictions and analyses for this must-watch main event clash.

Ted Razon: Sitthichai via decision
I feel like this match will solely be determined by whichever version of Sitthichai shows up. Inconsistency has plagued the battle-tested veteran throughout his tenure in ONE.
Then again, ‘Killer Kid’ is coming off a remarkable performance against Masaaki Noiri and I expect him to use that momentum to deny his upset-minded foe.
Shadow, who’s starting to find his footing in the promotion after three straight wins, should dictate this match as soon as the bell rings and force the 33-year-old to have another slow start.
The Buriram native, though, already learned from his past mistakes and should get his offense going early using his rangy kicks and punches to set up his rhythm from afar.
I expect the aggressive Shadow to score get the upperhand at close range and do damage inside the clinch.
Still, I expect 'Killer Kid' to get things done through his effective counter-striking and brilliant distance management, and defend his place in the top five.
Vince Richards: Sitthichai via knockout
Never discount the legend that is Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong.
The Thai icon hasn’t had the best run of form in his past few fights, but the multi-time Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion is still one of the most lethal strikers on the planet.
I see him dictating the pace in his showdown against Shadow Singha Mawynn, with the 33-year-old spending much of the fight’s early moments gauging the flow against his younger opponent.
In true ‘Killer Kid’ fashion, the veteran will pounce on the opportune moment with his lightning flurries to send Shadow to the nether realms.
This is not to say that Shadow will be at the mercy of the Sitsongpeenong Muay Thai Camp athlete, but I just don’t see the former Lumpinee Stadium world champion falling prey to Shadow’s offense.
James De Rozario: Sitthichai via knockout
Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong's concussive punching power has been his primary weapon throughout his career, and it'll power him to another massive highlight-reel moment this Friday.
His experience will instantly be noticed from the moment they start trading in the pocket, and the southpaw won't waste any time letting his signature left-sided attacks find their mark.
From there, I think he'll be able to force Shadow to take a step in the wrong direction. This time, as he normally does, 'Killer Kid' will switch his target point and possibly go high.
I don't see Shadow being able to mix anything up that could worry the legendary Thai knockout specialist as round two unfolds.
And just as he takes his aggression up a notch, my money's on Sitthichai connecting with a counter left over the top to end his year with a quick day in the office.
Mike Murillo: Sitthichai via decision
The final ONE Friday Fights offering for the year has a solid main event in Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong versus Shadow Singha Mawynn. A generational match for all intents, which should be a barnburner of a contest.
I expect the veteran to come out the winner in the showdown by way of unanimous decision. He has a lot of experience going for him over Shadow, having competed against the top fighters in the featherweight class. He has more to draw from under the ONE setting which should help him come fight night.
Shadow, however, is not going to be a pushover. His last three victories have shown the skills he has, which he should continue to showcase against ‘Killer Kid’ at ONE Friday Fights 92. As added motivation, he is also out to secure a six-figure contract with ONE with a victory, making him all the more dangerous.
Still, in the end, it is Sitthichai whose hand will be raised in victory, keeping his standing as one of the noted fighters in his class.
