Hailing from Mossoró, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, Patrício Freire, more commonly known as "Patrício Pitbull," is a featherweight (145 lbs) MMA fighter born on July 7, 1987. Having trained with fierce fighters at the Chute Boxe Academy from his early days, Freire mastered Brazilian jiu-jitsu and was awarded a black belt. Freire's career in Bellator MMA was special, which included him being a three-time Bellator Featherweight Champion and a former Bellator Lightweight Champion.
In 2025, Freire moved to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), signing with the organization on February 19, 2025. He is set to debut in the UFC against former Interim UFC Featherweight Champion Yair Rodríguez on April 12, 2025, at UFC 314 in Miami, Florida.
