Petr Yan is an accomplished Russian professional mixed martial artist who fights in the bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The former bantamweight champion of the promotion fought in multiple fight promotions before making his way into the UFC. Yan made his professional mixed martial arts debut against Murad Bakiev in the Siberian League: Baikal Cup 2014 on December 20, 2014. He defeated Bakiev via a third-round TKO and took off to a winning start as a professional mixed martial artist.
