Raised in Hawaii, United States, Rachel Ostovich is a Mixed Martial Artist with a record of 4-6-0. Growing up with a gymnastic background, she dreamed about being a cheerleader. Her dreams came true when she became a cheerleader for the All-State 1st team. In an interview with UFC, she revealed how the culture of Hawaii pushed her into the fight business -

"In Hawaii, we’re warriors and I feel like that fighting spirit was automatically in me."
"There’s definitely a fighter inside of me and I’ve been a fighter since I was born. I think you can see that in my fights. Even when I have really tough times, I’m always fighting and always trying to win and get out of those tough situations."
"I grew up with that same mentality and that’s how it is in Hawaii."

Ostovich’s gateway into Mixed Martial Arts was through wrestling. Her first triumph was becoming a Judo State Champion in Wrestling. She joined Invicta FC in 2014 with a record of 1-1. She ended her tenure in 2017 with a 2-2 record in the promotion.

Six months after her last fight it was announced that she was signed by the UFC and would appear on The Ultimate Fighter 26. Her UFC career didn’t go to plan as she went 1-4 in the promotion post TUF. Her last bout came against Gina Mazany, which she lost via KO.

In April 2021 it was announced that Ostovich would be competing in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. She is scheduled to face Paige VanZant on July 23, 2021.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Arnold Berdon is a Mixed Martial Artist. Berdon ended his amateur debut with a record of 2-2. In 2014, he made his professional MMA debut against Zac Chavez at Destiny MMA - Na Koa 7. He won the fight via KO in round number one. He went on to win his next two fights however suffered his first loss in his pro career against Tyson Nam at Destiny MMA - Na Koa 10.

Berdon’s last bout came in 2018 against Jeremias Fernandez at Titan FC 50. He won the fight via decision.

In November 2017, Rachael Ostovich revealed that she was assaulted which left her with a broken orbital bone. Her husband, Arnold Berdon was accused as a perpetrator. On 20th November 2018, he was arrested for attempted second-degree murder. 9-minute footage of the assault was released by Hawaii News Now. In the footage it was Brendon was caught saying the following things -

"I’m going to murder you. I’m going to fucking murder you,"

TMZ obtained the court documents and revealed the following things said by Rachael Ostovich -

After a night out with family, (Arnold Berdon) punched me repeatedly on the head, face, ribs, making me fall to the ground. I gasped for breath and escaped through the balcony. I coughed up blood, threw up several times. Cracked orbital.

Brendon pleaded no contest to all the charges.

The hearing was scheduled for May 16, 2019, in Honolulu court. The judge sentenced Berdon to four-year probation. Ostovich filed for the divorce with full custody of their daughter the very same day.
