Finally we come to our last category, “Submission of the Year”, and Nate Diaz just about edged out Miesha Tate for his victory over Conor McGregor in March. He stunned McGregor with punches and when McGregor shot for a takedown Diaz moved to the back and locked in the rear naked choke for the submission finish.
