Regian Eersel reigned supreme in his ONE Muay Thai debut, besting Sinsamut Klinmee via split decision at ONE on Prime Video 3.
The victory earned Eersel the inaugural ONE lightweight Muay Thai world title. The 29-year-old currently holds that belt and the promotion's lightweight kickboxing title. He's the fourth concurrent two-sport world champion in ONE history.
After the win, Eersel had this to say in his ONE on Prime Video 3 post-fight interview:

"I had a feeling I entered his world. He had a lot more experience than me in Muay Thai, especially with the small gloves. So at the beginning of the fight, I was a little bit careful. And I know he's counter-fighting. So I didn't really put the pressure but my game plan worked, and I got the win."
Early on, 'The Immortal' was fending off a swarm of leg kicks from his opponent, forcing him to re-adjust his gameplan. Eventually, Eersel began finding success through heavy shots in the final round—which proved to be the difference.
Eersel prevailed by separating himself in the fight's fifth and final round. The previous four rounds were a back-and-forth chess match between two of the world's top strikers. Nevertheless, Eersel continued his winning streak.
Regian Eersel wants one more fight in 2022
Incredibly, the two-sport champ has yet to be defeated since joining ONE in 2019. He's had his hand raised in seven straight contests.
Following his ONE on Prime Video 3 performance, Regian Eersel claimed he'd like to return to the Circle one more time before year's end:
"I think I have a little bit of injury on my knuckle. But I will see how that goes. And maybe you'll see me in December."
Despite the minor injury, Eersel is eager to get back in there and defend his titles. Despite not picking up a finish since his ONE debut, 'The Immortal' has scored decision wins over the likes of Nieky Holzken, Islam Murtazaev, and Arian Sadikovic.
Be sure to look out for an announcement regarding Eersel's next fight, as it will be a must-watch title fight.
