Renan Ferreira is a Brazilian heavyweight mixed martial artist competing in the Professional Fighters League as of 2024. Born on November 23, 1989, Ferreira started his professional career in MMA in the year 2013. He had most of his early experience competing within the Legacy Fighting Alliance.

When Ferreira took the PFL Heavyweight Championship in 2023, it brought his career to a whole new level, stamping him as one of the best names in the division. He has pulled off 11 knockout victories so far in his MMA career. Despite having two of his fights overturned to no-contests due to positive tests for banned substances, Renan Ferreira remains one of the biggest stars in the PFL. Born on November 23, 1989, in Porangatu, Goias, Brazil, Ferreira worked as a private guard and as a construction worker before fully committing to MMA. His martial arts journey began with jiu-jitsu training in a social project for underprivileged youth in Brasília in 2013.

In 2016, he moved to Rio de Janeiro to focus entirely on MMA, training under the legendary Nogueira brothers. Ferreira also played Fabricio Werdum in O Faixa Preta, a biopic about jiu-jitsu icon Fernando Terere. He turned pro in 2013, racking up a 5-1 record before joining Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA).
