Two of the biggest welterweight matchups have been announced for the UFC 194 PPV to be held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The first blockbuster fight is between the UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler and the former interim titleholder Carlos Condit for the title. Another big fight for the night would be Johny Hendricks vs. Tyron Woodley for the number one contender spot. Bleacher Report’s writer Jeremy Botter revealed the news on Twitter yesterday. His tweets:
Talking about “Ruthless,” he is fresh of his UFC 189’s brutal TKO win over Rory MacDonald, which surely made him a mighty force in the welterweight division. Whereas Carlos Condit returned from an extended injury layoff and had a bloody TKO win over Thiago Alves.
On the other hand, Johny Hendricks, the No.1 ranked welterweight after the champion Lawler, must be quiet upset with the decision, considering the fact that he had defeated Condit in March 2013. In fact, ‘Bigg Rigg’ was getting for a trilogy match with ‘Ruthless’. His new opponent Tyron Woodley will be positive coming from two straight wins over Dong Hyun Kim and Kelvin Gastelum.

It seems like the 170-pound bout between Hendricks vs. Woodley is considered the "Plan B", in case if Lawler or Condit pulls out because of an injury. These are only two fights announced for the upcoming UFC 194. Few new fights are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
