Rodtang delights fans with showmanship as he stalks Joseph Lasiri

ONE superstar Rodtang Jitmuangnon is a favorite amongst fans, not only due to his incredible fights, but also because of the showmanship that he displays inside the Circle.

The flyweight Muay Thai champ put on a show during his dominant five-round decision win over Joseph Lasiri at ONE on Prime Video 4.

Rodtang isn't known for finishing opponents, but he's known and adored for his relentless fighting style. Also, the 25-year-old is a perfect 13-0 in Muay Thai and kickboxing under ONE Championship thus far.

Rodtang content with how his 2022 played out overall

'The Iron Man' had an eventful 2022, picking up a pair of Muay Thai victories over Jacob Smith and Joseph Lasiri. He also competed in a custom rules super-fight against Demetrious Johnson, a match that he lost by submission.

The champ is pleased with how he fared last year, telling the South China Morning Post:

"It’s been a mixed feeling. Overall, I’m happy that I can defend my title at ONE Championship. I am a little disappointed with some fights that I’ve missed, but overall I feel good."

To start off 2023, the striker scored a unanimous decision win over China's Jiduo Yibu in a flyweight kickboxing bout. He was then scheduled to challenge Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the flyweight kickboxing world title, but suffered an injury.

Still, Rodtang will make a flyweight Muay Thai world title defense against Edgar Tabares at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video. The champ has already made four successful defenses entering the bout.

His title defenses have come against a quartet of world-class talents in Walter Goncalves, Jonathan Haggerty, Petchdam Petchyindee Academy, and Lasiri.
