Rodtang Jitmuangnon rains down a combination of punches and kicks on Jiduo Yibu

Muay Thai superstar Rodtang Jitmuangnon made a statement in his kickboxing debut against Jiduo Yibu, overwhelming his opponent with a barrage of punches and kicks.

'The Iron Man' is gearing up to challenge Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the flyweight kickboxing world title at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video.

With a win, the 25-year-old phenom will become a two-sport champion—a status that only a few have been able to achieve inside of ONE Championship.

Ahead of the highly-anticipated main event contest on March 24, ONE Championship shared a reminder of just how dominant Rodtang can be in kickboxing as he is in Muay Thai.

Superlek believes Rodtang will be less aggressive against him, wary of his variety of kicks

Superlek knows the dangers that come with facing someone as skilled as Rodtang—and he's expecting a tough battle when they square off at ONE Fight Night 8.

He's also expecting a less aggressive version of the dominant flyweight Muay Thai champ, telling ONE:

"Maybe this time [Rodtang] will come to me with less aggression. He is likely to be more careful. He may have plotted to prevent me from throwing my weapons. But I can guarantee no matter what style he uses on me, he’ll never scare me."

The kickboxing champ added, saying:

“Muay Thai has a variety of dangerous weapons. This was the part that kept him from losing. Rodtang is aggressive. He keeps throwing weapons, and he can absorb his opponent’s attacks.”

Superlek attained the vacant flyweight kickboxing world title by defeating Spain's Daniel Puertas this past January. Prior to that, he had picked up wins over Taiki Naito, Walter Goncalves, and Panpayak Jitmuangnon.

Meanwhile, 'The Iron Man' enters the title bout with a three-fight winning streak since May last year.
