Rodtang Jitmuangnon reveals plans following recent victory over Jiduo Yibu
The 25-year-old is now in search of becoming a two-sport champion, and after beating Jiduo at ONE Fight Night 6, he has his crosshairs fixated on one man. He told reporters:
“I want to go step by step. I want to claim my title in kickboxing first and then I will go to MMA. My goal right now is to stay in the flyweight division and claim the kickboxing title and then I will move to MMA. Absolutely. I am ready for that [to face Superlek].”
Currently ranked No.1 in ONE's flyweight kickboxing division, Rodtang believes he's ready to challenge Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the belt. Superlek recently secured the vacant belt with a victory over Daniel Puertas at ONE Fight Night 6.
'The Iron Man' isn't planning on settling as a two-sport champion though. In fact, he is eyeing a transition to MMA after attaining the flyweight kickboxing belt. He will truly be one of a kind if he's able to accomplish his goals.
