Roman Dolidze is a Georgian professional mixed martial artist who is currently signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is among the top eleven middleweight competitors active on the UFC’s roster as of March 2025. Having spent a part of his professional life as a goalkeeper, Dolidze started training in sambo, grappling, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu after moving to Ukraine. After competing as a grappler, where he won several accolades, Dolidze eventually shifted to mixed martial arts.

Roman Dolidze made his professional debut in mixed martial arts on December 9, 2016, against Alexander Kovbel at RFP 53: West Fight 23. He made quick work of Kovbel by dispatching him in the first round with the help of a heel hook, forcing him to submit. Dolidze started his career with a dominant first-round submission. Riding high on six consecutive victories, all of which had come through finishes, Dolidze entered the UFC. He made his debut in the promotion against Khadis Ibragimov on July 19, 2020, at UFC Fight Night: Figueiredo vs. Benavidez 2. Dolidze maintained his dominant momentum and finished Ibragimov in the first round by TKO.
