Rose Namajunas is a 32-year-old American professional mixed martial arts fighter who competes in the women's flyweight division of the UFC. She is currently ranked No.5 in the UFC women’s flyweight rankings and is ranked sixth in the women’s pound-for-pound rankings. She started training for Taekwondo at the young age of 5, and by turning 9, she earned her poom belt, following which she practiced both Karate and BJJ. In her high school, Namajunas started training in kickboxing and martial arts with Duke Roufus at Roufusport. She was also a senior year wrestler at her school, Milwaukee School of the Arts.
