UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey is still determined to do more with WWE, despite UFC President Dana White publicly denouncing the idea. The fighter was recently interviewed by the Wallstreet Journal and said she can’t leave the fans hanging after her appearance at Wrestlemania.
She says she’s fully invested in the idea and doesn’t want to make just one appearance, but instead wants to be involved in a properly built-up storyline. Unfortunately, she has already signed on for a movie around the time of Wrestlemania 32, so it’s possible that she’ll be used for a different event before or after next April.
Rousey has even expressed interest in getting her “Four Horsewomen” partners involved.
But will she be able to change Dana White’s mind? It’s possible White is just grandstanding because he cannot be seen to be associated with pro wrestling, but secretly doesn’t mind. After all it’s free advertising for one of his top stars.
