Sean McComb is a professional boxer who has maintained an impressive record so far in his career. Starting as an amateur, he won a bronze medal in the 2015 European games. Positioning himself as a formidable force inside the squared circle, he eventually turned into a professional in 2018.

On August 18, 2018, Sean McComb made his professional debut as a boxer against Reynaldo Mora at Windsor Park, Belfast, Northern Ireland. The fight was scheduled for four rounds and it almost went the distance. McComb found the finish in the closing moments of the fight by knocking out Mora in the fourth round at 1:53 seconds to secure a win. Sean McComb thus started his career with a victory.

After his first professional bout, Sean McComb compiled a winning streak of 11 fights before suffering the first loss of his career. On February 19, 2021, Gavin Gwyne and McComb faced each other in a 12-round fight at the Bolton Whites Hotel, Lancashire, England. Gwyne dispatched McComb in the seventh round at 2:09 seconds and handed him his first professional loss.

Sean McComb returned to winning ways in his next fight and after establishing a three-fight winning streak, got the shot at the WBO vacant European super lightweight title against Zsolt Osadan on December 10, 2022, in a 10-round fight. McComb won the fight by a unanimous decision and won the strap.
