Sean O'Malley is weighing in on the UFC bantamweight division and is projecting what fights he sees in his future. The 135-lb division has become one of the promotion's most stacked divisions and there are plenty of big fights on the horizon.
O'Malley addressed the upcoming bantamweight fights on episode #90 of his BROMALLEY Show, and gave his prediction on what could be next. While discussing Marlon Vera vs. Cory Sandhagen and Henry Cejudo-Aljamain Sterling's bantamweight title fight, he mentioned that he would be confident about his chances against the reigning champion:
"I hope he {Marlon Vera} beats Cory {Sandhagen}. Aljo {Sterling} beats Henry {Cejudo}, moves to {1}45. Me vs. 'Chito' - July, massive fight for the belt. Or Aljo beats Henry, comes back. I sleep Aljo...like Marlon Moraes, and then I beat up 'Chito.' Either way, it doesn't matter to me. As long as 'Chito' gets the job done." {6:20 - 6:40}
'Sugar' clearly wants to avenge his lone career loss to Vera and doing it with the bantamweight championship at stake is very enticing. It would be a massive fight, especially considering who they have both defeated since they fought. He mentioned that he respects 'Chito' for the improvements he has made:

"I used to call 'Chito' a journeyman, but that was before he beat all those good guys. I didn't think 'Chito' was going to get as good as he did, but he's gotten good. He's gotten really good and you know, nothing but respect for him." {6:09 - 6:19}
O'Malley is expected to receive the next UFC bantamweight title shot against the winner of Sterling vs. Cejudo, which he earned after defeating former bantamweight champion Petr Yan via split-decision at UFC 280.

Sean O'Malley believes fans are only excited for Alajamin Sterling vs. Henry Cejudo because of him
Sean O'Malley believes that he is the reason why fans are excited for the rumored UFC bantamweight championship bout between Aljamain Sterling and the returning Henry Cejudo.
While discussing the title picture on episode #90 of his BROMALLEY Show, 'Sugar' mentioned that fans are only interested in the outcome because he'll be fighting the winner, saying:
"Yeah, excited for Henry {Cejudo} vs. Aljo {Sterling}? I think people are only excited for Henry vs. Aljo because it finally gets you to see what's next for the 'Sugar Show.' I think Henry vs. Aljo, it's a good fight. I'm excited, I'll watch it. I'm only really watching it to see who 'Sugar' Sean O'Malley gets to fight next."{7:44 - 8:00}
If the rumored Sterling-Cejudo bout takes place in March, it would be logical for the winner to defend the title against 'Sugar' in July, when the promotion hosts their International Fight Week pay-per-view event.
