Popular podcaster Joe Rogan and American internet celebrity David Portnoy recently debated British boxer Tommy Fury's prowess in the sweet science.

Tommy Fury made his first professional boxing match in 2018 against Andrejevs at the Manchester Arena. He was victorious, winning by decision at the end of the fourth round.

The Brit then moved on to battle Callum Ide, whom he defeated with a first-round knockout on March 23, 2019. Fury has had eight fights in his career so far and has won all of them, keeping his undefeated record intact.

The Barstool Sports founder expressed skepticism about the undefeated light heavyweight's boxing credentials. He noted that 'TNT' would not have been known to the world if he wasn't WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury's younger brother. Putting forth his argument, Portnoy said:

"Tommy Fury is not a real boxer... We would not know who Tommy Fury if his last name wasn't Fury."

However, Rogan disagreed with his guest's views and spoke up in defense of the British boxer, praising Fury for creating a name for himself. The UFC color commentator played some of Fury's fights to demonstrate his technical abilities.

Still, Portnoy disagreed with Rogan and remained firm in his belief that the boxer was not legitimate. Rogan responded agitatedly:

"You telling me this guy is not a really good boxer, you are out of your f*****g mind. Look at this, the guy is fighting a professional boxer, the guy he is fighting looks good. You're crazy if you don't think Tommy Fury is a boxer... Shut the f**k up dude, shut the f**k up [and] watch this."

Joe Rogan has a message for Andrew Tate

Andrew Tate is a highly divisive figure known for his outspoken and direct attitude towards masculinity. Tate, who also claims to be a former kickboxer, has earned a large following of millions on his social media accounts and podcast but has been criticized for his alleged misogynistic comments.

Commenting on Tate's approach on the same episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan said:

"I don't know him. If I did know him, I would tell him all the boastful s**t and the s**t about him being the Top G and all that stuff - all that s**t's great, but the misogynistic stuff - like, if you have daughters or if you have a wife or if you have sisters, you don't want that. That narrative, putting that out there, that's negative - to everybody. It's not even positive to him. It's like, it's not necessary."
