Sinsamut Klinmee’s legendary family inspired him to be the best fighter possible
Divulging further details about his family's history in combat sports excellence, Sinsamut Klinmee shared the accomplishments of the uncles that inspired him to carry on the legacy.
“My close relatives like my uncles are all Muay Thai Champions. My uncles are famous Muay Thai fighters. You may have heard the names Yok Thai Sit-Or, Rambaa Somdet, and Tappaya Sit-Or. We have WBC and WBA [Boxing] World Champions in our family."
Yok Thai Sit-Or captured the WBA super flyweight title in 1996, becoming the second Thai to capture the title after the legendary Khaosai Galaxy, who held the belt from 1984 to 1991. Two years prior, he was a Lumpinee Stadium. Rambaa Somdet is a former Shooto flyweight champion, going undefeated in the promotion.
Last but not least, Tappaya Sit-Or captured the WMC world lightweight championship in 1997. That same year, Tappaya was the Rajadamnern Stadium lightweight champion.
