The main event is scheduled to be headlined by UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira and former light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill in a light heavyweight title showdown.

Sodiq Yusuff is a Nigerian-American professional mixed martial artist who is currently signed with the UFC. He made his professional debut on April 16, 2016, in a featherweight showdown against Alvin Mercer. Yusuff won his first professional fight by shutting Mercer’s lights off in the second round and starting his career with a dominant victory.

Sodiq Yusuff fought in multiple professional mixed martial arts promotions before joining the UFC. He made his promotional debut for the global mixed martial arts promotion on December 2, 2018. Sodiq Yusuff’s rival for his upcoming bout at UFC 300, Diego Lopes, is an experienced professional mixed martial artist with over a decade of experience and 29 professional fights. Lopes made his professional debut on September 8, 2012, against Francivaldo Arauvo, whom he defeated by a second-round TKO to kick off his career on the professional circuit. Lopes competed in various promotions before making a place for himself in the UFC. He made his debut in the elite fight promotion at UFC 288 against Movser Evloev. After fighting for three rounds, he came up short and lost the fight. Sodiq Yusuff and Diego Lopes will be looking forward to outplaying each other in the showdown in order to propel their careers forward in the promotion’s featherweight division.
