We had reported earlier about the Jacob "Stitch" Duran being released from the UFC due to his comments about UFC-Reebok sponsorship deal. He had expressed his discontent about the deal being very unfair for cutmen, as all of them lost sponsorships and Reebok did not compensate it. So after he confirmed his contract release on Twitter, all the other MMA outfits wanted him to be a part of their organization.
World Series of Fighting (WSOF) President Ray Sefo had expressed his desire to bring in the veteran cutman Duran as he said:
"'Stitch' and I have been friends for years. Now that he's a free agent, we want the best guys out there, and we want a guy who knows how to look after fighters. I'm interested in him working for us."
And WSOF got their man in less than 24 hours, and he’ll be working for their upcoming live event WSOF 22: "Palhares vs. Shields" on 1st of August. Sefo confirmed the news through Twitter:
