ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon Singha Mawynn has offered his thoughts and condolences to the Lee family for the unfortunate loss of Victoria Lee.

Victoria Lee was one of the fastest-rising stars in the ONE Championship. The Singaporean-American fighter made her Circle debut when she was just 16 years old.

Though she took some time away from MMA to focus on her schooling, she remained one of the biggest names in the sport.

Her older sister, Angela Lee shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram. She posted:

"Our Victoria passed away. She has gone too soon and our family has been completely devastated since then."

Superbon will soon be in the ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video main event, but he still made sure to share his thoughts to the grieving family. While in an interview with Nicolas Atkin of SCMP MMA, the 32-year-old Thai superstar said:

"I’m so sorry for your loss Lee family. I’m so sad with the news. I hope you guys come back stronger, and we are with you."

Superbon will look to defend his throne when he faces Chingiz Allazov on January 13. ONE Fight Night 6 will be live and free to watch for North American fans with a Prime Video subscription.

The reigning ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion discussed his upcoming match against Allazov in an interview with ONE Championship. The Thai-born athlete explained:

“Surely, he is a strong opponent. He just won the World Grand Prix tournament. He is the same level as Giorgio Petrosyan, Marat, or even Sittichai. He is one of the best kickboxers in ONE. But still, for me, he’s not better than Petrosyan, Marat, or Sittichai. If I’m not careless I will never lose to him. And careless is not in my dictionary.”

The 32-year-old fighter is certain that Allazov is not a greater fighter when compared to the kickboxers he has already defeated. The Thai-born athlete has already vanquished talented strikers such as Giorgio Petrosyan, Marat Grigorian, and Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong, among others.

Fans have long been waiting to see Superbon and Allazov mix it up in ONE Circle. Live on Amazon Prime Video on January 13 at Bangkok’s Impact Arena, fans will finally get to see the world title kickboxing battle they wished for.
